TRAPPED IN THE TOILET!

Scripture for Today

Psalm 138:1-3 Thank you! Everything in me says "Thank you!" Angels listen as I sing my thanks. I kneel in worship facing your holy temple and say it again: "Thank you!" Thank you for your love, thank you for your faithfulness; Most holy is your name, most holy is your Word. The moment I called out, you stepped in; you made my life large with strength. (Msg)

So last week I was trapped in the toilet. I teach in a preschool so every minute is important. I couldn't believe it because I had a knowledge of how to close the toilet door which is actually faulty. I felt trapped or indeed I was trapped. What was I thinking I asked myself? I have to get someone to hear me scream so they could come open the door for me from outside.

I started to scream no one heard everyone was out for recess. How was I going to get out? I started to panic but it wasn't helping either, I was wondering when someone will finally walk by and hear me banging the door. I was left with no other choice than to just be patient and trust God to send help as soon as possible. I started to worship, turning my moment of anxiety and panic into a moment of worship and praise unto God. It wasn't up to 5 minutes of worship a little girl came by and she heard for shout for someone to open the door, she struggled a little but she finally opened it. The power of praise and thankfulness was seen that day.

Worshipping and praising God in all circumstances is the key to victory. Situations in life comes up that only being joyful and thankful can help us have total victory. Are you ready for victory? Praise him today! Give him your fruits of worship. He is greater than any situation you may find yourself in, he is greater than all sorrow and tribulations. He is God Almighty and he reigns in majesty.

  1. I've had such an encounter with life's situations but not with a toilet door though 😊 Yea, praising even in the storm solves alot and prevents alot of bad things from happening.
