BEST WITHOUT EACH OTHER

Scripture for today

Galatians 6:2 AMP
Bear (endure, carry) one another's burdens and troublesome moral faults, and in this way fulfill and observe perfectly the law of Christ (the Messiah) and complete what is lacking [in your obedience to it].

I always say that the church is a hospital, we are all sick and need a saviour. We are not perfect because we are born again. We are just working towards perfection. Everyday there seems to be just a new thing to work on. Just yesterday God revealed to me new areas I need to work on, so everyday in the life of a believer there is always a new approach to work on,  trying to be just like Jesus doesn't fall on us like ripe cherries with constant study at his feet we get more and more acquitted with his ways.

We are in the flesh and that makes us struggle sometimes with the flesh which is always at war in our members. It is pathetic when you come to church and there just seems to be so much condemnation about the act of one person or the other.  We are so full of pride not wanting to be at fault or even accept that we aren't perfect. Why do we burden ourselves so much?  We are to carry each other's moral and even behavioural burdens.

We know we are not perfect neither are we the Holy Spirit, so why do we not carry each other's struggles but rather we use them for gossip and public scrutiny. God has called us to bear with each other in love, correcting one another with patience and understanding.

Prayer: Father, help me bear the faults of others.
