GOD WILL STILL ANSWER

Scripture for today

Exodus 24:16 AMP
The glory of the Lord rested on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days. On the seventh day [God] called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud.

God told Moses to wait for him, he saw the glory of God but it seems like God was seeing how patient he will be on the mountain. God called him out but had to keep him waiting for 6 days,  why did God do that we might ask? Is it to push him? Does God push us to a corner? Let me tell you what I believe God did, he was working on his ability to stay on the course even when it seems he is not coming through. I  can imagine being in Moses shoes. You were the one who asked me to come up, Lord. Just look at how God made him wait for 6days. If God made you wait a while before he answered you how will you handle it?

Another important thing to note is that God showed up on the 7th day. Just imagine if Moses had given up on the 6th day.  When the battle is fiercer and tougher a breakthrough is closer than you could imagine. Moses had to tarry a while, he had to wait a while before God answered, he didn't rush off.  In our place of prayer we are to wait a while until God comes through to us. Let's not be in a hurry to run out of his presence. Has God promised you a thing? Does it look like it's taking too long?  Does it seem like you are fighting so many battles on your path in life? Be assured at the end of the day God will come through.

Prayer: Father,  help me to be patient through it all.
